Today was a good day! (Well besides the fact that I lied.) I had a second interview in Atlanta for the job here in Macon. It went well...so now we wait and see.
I won a prize on the radio, because I for once knew some worthless trivia!
I sold my first Ebay item!
I found out about a job opening up with the American Cancer Society in my area!
Yep, the sun was shining, and all is well!
On a side note. After my interview I stopped by the Lenox Square Mall to eat lunch. First of all purple was a big color today. I must have seen 7 men wearing purple shirts! Second of all; if I were single that is the mall I would hang out in. There must have been 7 young (25-35ish) men for every young girl! Crazy! Third...this whole metro thing, just may be going too far. Now, I am one to love a well dressed man. Damian is the poster child for a metrosexual man. BUT! Today in the mall I couldn't tell the gay men from the straight ones! (Well, with the exception of the guy working at Nine West with the better walk than me.)

Okay, so the truth is, that I didn't wake until 11:30 a.m. today. I slept in and did not get up with the crazies to shop at the crack of dawn...or pre-dawn, should I say. Why? Well, with the medical bills piling up, and disability only paying 2/3rds, I really didn't have but $50 to spend today. And $50 is absolutely not enough to get up at 4:30 a.m.
I did finally brave the stores around 3:30 this afternoon, but steered clear of the mall. My mom picked me up and we went to the local shopping plaza. Mom chipped in a little and helped me get some shopping done. I didn't get much, but it felt good to get even a little accomplished.
So now that I fessed up to my lack of participation in the day I look forward to each year...you can fess up too? Did you get up at 4:00a.m.? Did you shop at all?Labels: Black Friday, shopping |

My page has gotten quite cluttered in the day and a half that I have been back home. I do hate the space the paid post take up, but someone has to make a living! Sorry :)
So in review...I went on a "mini" vacation, I am finally cancer free! (and posted links to surgery pictures), and My tribute to Thanksgiving.
Does anybody besides me ever feel like some of the good posts get lost in the crap?
